Terms & Conditions-

Standard callout is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. 

Out of hours visits are available on weekday evenings and Saturdays by prior arrangement although an additional fee may be charged at our discretion. 

Please see 'Saddle Fitting' for our current fees.

Callout fee is applicable on all visits unless otherwise stated by Sarah Rymer - Saddle fitter. Callout fee covers travel to you the customer and consultation for one horse. Additional horses at the same location will be charged in addition to the callout fee. 

New saddles, repairs and all goods received from Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter must be paid for in full at time of delivery or collection, unless previously agreed with Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter.

Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter reserve all title to goods until paid for in full.

All saddles sold are subject to a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase.

Full refunds of purchase price will be issued less any callout/postage fees incurred, when saddles are in new un-soiled condition as delivered to the customer by Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter. 

For saddles that have been ridden on during this period at least 10% may be deducted from the original purchase price commensurate with use and at the discretion of Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter.

A full refund can be made up to one month from the date of purchase provided that the goods remain unused. If the goods have been used refunds after fourteen days from the date of purchase are fully at the discretion of Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter and are commensurate with the use of the saddle, at least 10% of the orginal purchase price may be deducted when calculating the refund value

 Any alterations made to a saddle once purchased from Sarah Rymer- Saddlefitter after 28 days from purchase are not included within the original sale price and will be charged at our standard rates. This includes flocking, head plate changes and callout fees.

Special order and Custom saddles are non-returnable and non-refundable. A deposit will be taken at time of order and this is non-refundable if you cancel your order after seven days from the date of order. 

Cancellations of order must be received in writing or electronic mail to Sarah Rymer-Saddle fitter within this seven day period to receive a refund; this will be issued less any callout fees/expenses incurred at time of order. Full payment must be made at time of delivery of saddles when requested by Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter.

Faulty items will be returned to us for inspection and if required returned to the manufacturers. Please allow up to 28 days for replacement goods Sarah Rymer- Saddle fitter must be informed of any dissatisfaction or damage to orders as soon as possible after discovery of the issue.

Your saddle will need to be checked regularly for fit and balanced as explained by our fitter at the time of purchase. It is your responsibility to contact us to arrange this.

All priced include VAT at 20%

If a provision in this Agreement is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect:

1. The validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement.

2.  The validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this agreement.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS IN ANY WAY

Returns and Cancellation 

 

You may cancel your order in accordance with the Distance Selling regulations, unless the item ordered was a special or custom order. A special or custom order cannot be returned unless faulty.

 

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days from receipt of goods. Goods returned which are not faulty a full refund or exchange will be given, less cost of return postage, providing goods are returned in the original, unsoiled, condition complete with original packaging. Please retain receipt for proof of posting to obtain your refund.

 

Refunds and exchanges cannot be given before returned goods are received by Sarah Rymer-Saddle fitter.

 

Faulty Goods

 

If you discover the goods are faulty, you must notify us of the defect within 14 days of the date of delivery or within a reasonable period of time of discovery (if the defect was not readily apparent).

 

For faulty goods we will refund any reasonable costs incurred and offer a replacement of the item or a full refund. Cancellation Procedure To cancel your order, email us quoting the following details:

 

  1. Your order number.

  2. Your name and address.

  3. The date of purchase.

  4. Product description or code.

  5. Reason for return. 

 

We will issue you with a number, method and address to post to. Please write the returns number clearly on the outside packaging of the goods being returned.

 

Returns – The Law

 

The law gives you 14 days right to cancel an order for a full refund (excluding cost of carriage).

·         To provide you with a follow up service and as an on-going record of your horses saddle fit

 

·         To be able to recognise any changes in your horses back between saddle fittings

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

 

Sarah Rymer - Saddle fitter relies on you giving your consent at point of contact for us to keep your personal data.

 

After reading and signing our saddle fitting forms you agree that we may store your information. You may remove your consent for us to store this information at any time.

 

 

 

When do we share personal data?

 

We only share your personal data with 3rd parties on occasions where it is deemed necessary to do so to provide you with our full service.

 

These occasions are when you have ordered a saddle from us and we have to pass the order on to one our suppliers to fulfil that order.  

 

 

 

 

 

How do we secure personal data?

 

We are committed to ensuring your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and electronical measures to safeguard and secure the information. These may be measures:

•                     to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery

 

•                     to restrict access to personal information

How long do we keep your personal data for?

 

We only hold customer personal data on our saddle fitting and order forms for a period of 3 years unless we provide you with a follow up service. 

 

 

 

Any personal Data is securely disposed of by being shredded and burnt after 3 years have lapsed.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in respect of the personal data that we hold of yours: -
